Send an export string
Can't get to the addon's file, for example because you play on another computer? In game, type
/qr export, copy the string it shows (it starts with QR2: or QR2Z:) and
paste it below. Decoding happens in your browser, and you can check what the string holds. Nothing is sent
until you select Send.
If you can open the file, the upload page is easier: drop
QuestRouter.lua once and it sends every session in it, not only the current one.
What the string contains
Send it to QuestRouter
Your uploads from this browser
Uploads from this page carry a random upload ID that this browser keeps: .
It is not linked to you, your computer or your game account.
This browser does not let the page store the ID, so it is gone when you leave this page. Delete now, or note the ID down.
How sending works
Send does what the companion app does. It removes every field outside the published allowlist and splits large sessions to fit the upload limit, then sends the rest over HTTPS to the QuestRouter API. The first upload from a browser asks for a one-time Cloudflare Turnstile check. If you send the same session again later, for example after playing longer, the new upload replaces the old one.
The upload page sends the same data from the addon's file, every session at once, and the optional companion app uploads it by itself. With either, you don't need this page.
The string holds only what the opt-in collector records for the current session: quest and NPC IDs, NPC and mob names, map coordinates, levels, XP and timings. It never contains your character name, realm, account or chat. See the privacy notes.
