Upload your quest data
Drop the addon's QuestRouter.lua file here. Nothing to install: your browser reads the file,
shows exactly what would be sent, and uploads only when you select Send. Sessions you
uploaded before are skipped, so you can drop the same file again after every play session.
Want automatic uploads? Set up the QuestRouter CLI once and it uploads
after every logout or /reload, so you never need this page.
Drop QuestRouter.lua here
or
Only the file you choose is read, and only in this browser. Nothing is sent until you select Send.
What will be sent
Uploads hold only quest and world data: quest, NPC and item IDs, NPC and mob names, map positions, levels, XP and timings, with your class, race and faction. Never your character name, realm, account or chat. See the privacy notes.
Sessions in the file
Where to find the file
- In game, check that sharing is on with
/qr collect status(turn it on with/qr collect on). - Type
/reloador log out. The game writes the file only then. - Open your World of Warcraft folder and go to the file below.
<ACCOUNT>is your account folder.
- Windows
World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\WTF\Account\<ACCOUNT>\SavedVariables\QuestRouter.lua- Usually under
C:\Program Files (x86)\. In the file dialog you can paste the folder path into the address bar. - macOS
/Applications/World of Warcraft/_classic_beta_/WTF/Account/<ACCOUNT>/SavedVariables/QuestRouter.lua- In the file dialog, press Shift-Command-G to type the folder path.
_classic_beta_ is the folder of the beta client. The live game may use a folder with a different
name; the Battle.net app shows where the game is installed. Pick the QuestRouter.lua directly in
SavedVariables, not the one inside a realm or character folder.
Your uploads from this browser
This browser remembers which sessions it uploaded (0 so far), so dropping the same file again sends only new sessions and sessions you played on since.
Uploads carry a random upload ID that this browser keeps: none yet.
It is not linked to you, your computer or your game account. The export string page
uses the same ID.
This browser does not let the page store anything, so the ID, and the list of sessions sent with it, are gone when you leave this page. Delete now, or note the ID down.
How sending works
Send does what the companion app does. It keeps only the fields on the published allowlist (submission schema), splits large sessions to fit the upload limit, and sends them over HTTPS to the QuestRouter API. The first upload from a browser asks for a one-time Cloudflare Turnstile check. A session you send again after playing longer replaces its earlier upload.
Want automatic uploads? The QuestRouter CLI, or the optional
companion app,
watches the file and uploads after every /reload or logout, so you never visit this page.
No access to the file, for example on another device? Use the export string page
with /qr export.
